Review of the first month and a new capsule for November
Overall, the clothes I selected
for October worked well. I’d judged the weather about right and had a selection
of short and long sleeved t-shirts plus a couple of fleeces to cover the
chillier evenings. I dabbled with the #33in33 challenge, which involves wearing
a different outfit every day for 33 days. With the right mix of colours and a couple of scarves this
works very well.
It was going well until mid-October when we
had to return to the UK suddenly to arrange a funeral. However, Project 333
eased any packing worries, as I simply shoved a week’s worth of clothes from
the capsule into a suitcase, along with a black jacket and trousers from the ‘special
exceptions’ rail.
Now it’s time to choose a new
capsule for November. In fact, I am hoping that this will see me through the
whole three months of winter. It will have to, as I don’t think I’ve got any
warmer items! Here is the list for November, as before I have not included
bags, shoes, outer wear or underwear (including two thermal vests!)
